Eat Share's Borrowed Spaces

Since becoming a registered nonprofit in 2023, Eat Share has been bouncing around "borrowed spaces" in order to make meals and host events. As our referral numbers continue to increase and our need for growth imminent, one of our big goals for 2025 is to move into our own space where we can safely store excess food and creatively enhance our means of food sharing in north central PA. To accomplish this goal, we continue to lean on the support of the big-hearted communities we serve.

As an appreciative nod toward the kindness shown to us by local businesses, community members, and others who have shared their own space for our events--the Borrowed Spaces event was created by board member, Jen Starr!

We kicked off our first one at Sammy's Pizza & Restaurant in Muncy--sharing their brand new, beautiful banquet room. Like Eat Share, this space is a bit of a "hidden gem" and we loved the opportunity to spread the word on its availability for rental to the community. We enjoyed food and trivia with our guests and raffled off several gift cards and items donated by our Board of Directors.
